'BACK TO REALITY'

Invited to the first Digital Art Fair Asia in October 2021, THE FRENCH GIRL created a series of digital art based on physically hand-painted textures. The organic-feel pieces were showcased on screens for the first time in October at DAFA 2021 and for a solo show at K11 Musea in May 2022. The artist then brought the artworks “back to reality” in a series of limited editions lithographies and dye sublimation on aluminum, making hand-painted textures travel from the physical world to the digital world and finally back to reality in the physical world.

'ROOFTOP'

During COVID time, Caroline Tronel started to paint on her own rooftop.
That's how THE FRENCH GIRL artist was born, her rooftop being her first ever artwork.
